Michael Jackson, The King of Pop, died on Thursday, June 25th 2009, at the age of 50.

 

Michael Jackson, one of the most successful pop singers of all-time, was born on August 29, 1958, in Gary Indiana. He was 7th child in a family of 9 talented kids that soon formed a music band named 'Jackson 5'.

'Jackson 5' become wildly popular and recorded a number of hit songs. But it was just a beginning for their lead singer young Michael. After parting with his brothers and starting his own solo music career Michael Jackson sold hundreds of millions records, achieved worldwide super-stardom and become pop icon loved by millions.
